Paper Folding
Zhe2 Zhi3 (摺紙) is an art of paper folding. Many people will immediately think "origami," which is Japanese word for paper folding.
Chinese Painting
We learn to use the Chinese calligraphy brush to paint traditional Chinese painting styles.
Paper Cutting
Another way Chinese folk art dealt with paper was by cutting it. We'll be learning some different techniques in cutting the paper into shapes that is symmetrical!
Chinese Chess
Chinese also like to play board games during their leisure time. Similar to their Western counterpart, there are two sides and each with their own special movements and ways to capture the opponents. We'll learn and have a class competition to see who is the master of Chinese chess!
