Chinese Culture Immersion

Mandarin 1 students gradually are immersed in Chinese language and culture from 10% Chinese and 90% English at the beginning of the school year to 50% Chinese and 50% English by second quarter, then 90% Chinese and 10% English by third quarter.
Hsi Lai Temple Field Trip
- Be at least a part of Chinese Mandarin Program at Garey High School
- Be able to read, speak, and understand the Chinese language
- Obtain at least a C in all courses (and not just Chinese course)
- Have questions to ask after having researched about the different Chinese religions, esp. Buddhism, for the Religion Cube Project.
