Certified Math 1 Flight Attendants

Math 1 students will be able to interpret, critically think, and solve everyday problems (including word problems, digital citizenship, and financial literacy using Financial Algebra). Attendance is a must!

Requirements

- Be a Duarte High School student in Math 1 class

- Hold a C or better average throughout the semester/academic year

- Hold an instrument rating (for compass, ruler, and laptop)

- Be able to read, speak, and understand the mathematics language

- Have logged at least 10 hours a week doing mathematics homework and attending class per State of California Ed Code regulations

- Pass a knowledge test (Final) as well as the practical test (Project)
