NASA JPL is Hosting an Online Educator Workshop for the Launch to Asteroid Psyche

On Saturday, August 19, 2023 from 9AM to 1PM PDT, join the education team from NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) virtually (register here) as they focus on the Psyche mission to a metal-rich asteroid. This is the first time ever that human are exploring a world made of not rock or ice, but of metal! Asteroid Psyche offers a unique window into the building blocks of planet formation and an opportunity to investigate a previously unexplored type of world. The Psyche mission has six phases, A through F, and is currently in Phase D, where the mission's focus is on instrument and spacecraft assembly, testing and launch.
